Deveraux Group of Companies Sponsors Believe in the Gold’s 5th Annual Run for Childhood Cancer

We were extremely proud to be a leading sponsor for Believe in the Gold 5th Annual Run for Childhood Cancer that took place in Regina, SK this past Saturday. By rallying our team and business partners, and matching those donations, the Deveraux Group was able to raise $21,630.95 towards this worthy cause. 

Believe In The Gold Foundation

This amazing event is for a charitable foundation that is committed to raising funds for Childhood Cancer research, supporting affected families with medical expenses, and raising awareness about Childhood Cancer. It was founded by Shonalie Uphill, the mother of Jacey Uphill, who lost her battle with Ewing Sarcoma in October 2012. Despite her battle with cancer and enduring the aggressive treatments, Jacey used the word ‘Believe’ as her personal mantra and made it her mission to increase awareness of childhood cancer and affected families. The Believe in the Gold foundation carries on Jacey’s dream and hosts virtual, and in-person runs every year in Alberta and Saskatchewan to raise awareness and funds for children with cancer, their families, and Childhood Cancer research.
