Regina, SK – November 15, 2020 – We are extremely proud to announce that Deveraux Apartment Communities has been recognized by the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce with the 2020 ABEX Innovation Award, presented by Conexus Credit Union.  Through our ‘Virtually Anything’ campaign we were able to maintain our best in class property management services, remotely communicating with and engaging current and prospective residents during the pandemic. Additionally, in efforts to assist residents and ensure resilience in our company, Deveraux Apartment Communities designed a tenant assistance and rent deferral program to actively support tenants who experienced financial challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The rent deferral process allowed qualified tenants to defer portions of their rent without penalty, interest, or late fees. The program works on an individual basis, with a custom plan devised for each tenant.

A special congratulations to our dedicated team members who demonstrated great adaptability and commitment to those we serve, which ultimately led to sustainable support for tenants and a low rental payment delinquency rate. From FaceTime showings to virtual 3D tours, online applications to e-leases, we were able to pivot and innovate during these unprecedented times. Congratulations to all other nominees and winners. We are truly humbled to be part of such an esteemed group of resilient Saskatchewan businesses.
