This amazing event is for the Believe in the Gold charitable foundation, committed to raising funds for childhood cancer research, supporting affected families with medical expenses and raising awareness about childhood cancer. It was founded by Shonalie Uphill, the mother of Jacey Uphill, who lost her battle with Ewing Sarcoma in October 2012. Despite her battle with cancer and enduring the aggressive treatments, Jacey used the word ‘Believe’ as her personal mantra and made it her mission to increase awareness of childhood cancer and affected families. The Believe in the Gold foundation carries on Jacey’s dream and hosts virtual and in-person runs every year in Alberta and Saskatchewan to raise awareness and funds for children with cancer, their families and childhood cancer research.
Thank you to our dedicated team, our business partners and all those who came out this weekend to support Believe in the Gold.
