Deveraux Supports Local Food Banks During Week of Giving

This holiday season, the Deveraux Group of Companies partnered with the Regina Food Bank, Harvest Manitoba and Edmonton’s Food Bank for our very first Week of Giving.

The Week of Giving, which took place from December 13–17, aimed to bring staff and residents together to support local food banks, which are visited by nearly 840,000 Canadians each month according to CanadaHelps.org.

Donation bins were placed in Deveraux’s offices during the Week of Giving. To ensure each food bank received highly requested and long-lasting items, both Deveraux Apartment Communities residents and Deveraux staff were encouraged to donate a different category of items each day of the week.

We were pleased to see our staff and residents go above and beyond in their donations, and Deveraux donated an additional $1000 worth of groceries to each market to support this worthy cause.

Thank you to all our residents and staff members who donated during our first Week of Giving! We are proud to report that we were able to donate approximately 850 kg to each food bank, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
