Latitude 49 consists of one, six-storey and four, four-storey apartment buildings with a mix of micro units, one bedroom and two bedroom suites. A three-storey building, situated along Burning Glass Road, will offer ground-level commercial retail space and two floors of luxury apartment living. There will be a mix of underground parking, as well as surface parking with carports for added comfort and convenience. The first buildings will open in the summer of 2020, with the full complex set to be complete in the summer of 2021.
Latitude 49 will offer on-site amenities including a centralized resident clubhouse with a study area, games room, package delivery lockers, commercial-grade fitness centre, outdoor swimming pool, barbeques and fire pits. This premium apartment community also offers outdoor green spaces and a pedestrian, pet and bicycle-friendly central road; as well as a private, fenced dog run and dog wash station for residents to enjoy.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held on the Latitude 49 site on Tuesday, December 18 at 1:30 p.m. with invited guests from the City of Winnipeg and Qualico, as well as other Winnipeg-based trade partners and consultants.
